Para el primer disco no tenía planificado grabar ningún tema de Frank Zappa. Con mi participación en la serie Unmatched organizada por Luis González del sello discográfico español Hall of Fame, era bastante. Para el Unmatched vol. VII (2004) participé con una versión de Easy Meat. Cuando Luis me envió el disco, al dejarlo correr hasta el final, había un track oculto, una versión a capella de He’s so gay. Se me ocurrió la idea entonces de agregarle la instrumentación. Siempre quise versionar ésa canción con una base disco setentosa. Con los arreglos vocales de Luis, no precisaba más… De chat con él, le pregunté cómo la había grabado, y la hizo en un multipistas usando de base un metrónomo y una guitarra para fijar la armonía. Cuando terminé mi trabajo, se lo envié y flipó del otro lado del océano.
